Brief Overview of Project 1: Prediction of earthquake is done by using specific device called as Seismograph, by seismologists, which is composed of numerous seismic sensors and other elements. Seismic waves are waves that travel through the Earth, most often as the result of a tectonic earthquake, sometimes from an explosion. A sensor is a device, which measures a physical quantity and converts it into a signal that can be read by an observer or by an instrument. Sensors are used in everyday objects such as touch-sensitive elevator buttons and lamps which dim or brighten by touching the base and there are also innumerable applications for sensors of which include automobiles, machines, aerospace, medicine, industry, and robotics.
Project 2(Final project) : A VERSATILE FLASH LOADER BASED ON MIL-STD-1553

Brief overview of project : This is a software development for loading flash memory of an On-Board Computer (OBC), an embedded system. It is typically based on Host-Target approach. Host system will have cross compilers, linkers/builders and locaters/builders. The host computer is connected to target through MIL-STD-1553 Bus. The embedded computer is provided with flash memory (Flash). Basic operations provided are:
Erase: Removes the content of the flash
Download (hostPC to target): writes into target flash
Upload (target to hostPC): Reads from the target flash
Verify: compares download with upload
Blank check: checks for blank space
The application program on Host PC is divided into packets and transferred through 1553 serial data cable.
First packet is transferred to the target system, checksum is sent to PC where it gets verified in order to avoid errors and then next packet is transferred.
