Project Name : Accident/Incident Management System Module

March 2010– Till Date

Clients : BBA, Caterpillar Goodyear and Ingersoll Rand.

Safety Managers and other employees can electronically record the essential information relating to an accident or other incident, and rollup all of these records for reports to management or for analysis of root causes and other research in order to avoid such incidents again in future. A priority report can be created immediately after an incident, and subsequent details and investigation results can be added later. The ‘action matrix’ component of this module enables the administrator to assign specific follow up, corrective and preventative actions to individuals, and then track these tasks to completion.

I had the opportunity to serve as a manual functional tester.

Role: Functional Tester Team Size: 3

Responsibilities

· Analyzing Business/Functional Specification document.

· Involved in the preparation of Test Scenarios, Test Cases & Test execution for various levels of testing like Functional and Regression Testing.

· Performed SSRS testing.

· Reporting defects using QuickBase.

· Handle multiple Applications simultaneously with a limited timeframe.

· Worked with development team to ensure testing issues are resolved.

· Active Participation in Status Review meetings with the Client Services Team.

· Involved in Project Review meetings and Process Improvement.

· Extensively involved in training the team members.

· Investigation and resolution of Customer reported issues.

Project Name : Industrial Hygiene

Apr 2009 – February 2010

Clients : Brush Wellman, Goodyear, Mirant, Shaw and Watson.

Industrial Hygiene module is designed to recognize, evaluate and control the hazards in the workplace. The OSHA, ACGIH and the NIOSH are three organizations which establish many of the rules governing allowable workplace exposures. Employee takes the samples and updates the information related to the Sample Details, Employee(s) involved, Equipment Details and Controls used. Once the samples are taken the Chain of Custody (COC) is created and electronic email is automatically sent to the lab with sample details. Once the Lab Team analyzes the samples they send back the sample results to the users. This process is by placing the file in the FTP site. Based on the Sample results, the Industrial Hygienist either approves or invalidates the Sample collected and also they take necessary corrective or preventative actions.
