Description:

SIMS is a complete business solution to manage the entire Sales activities and Inventory of finished goods. Administrator defines and manages the Master entities; Sales people perform transactions required for the business. Customer logs in and tracks his sales order details such as Confirmed orders, Out of Stock, Shipment pending and delivered etc. And also Invoice details such as billed and to be paid etc. Warehouse people logs in and tracks the Goods to be shipped, Shipping slip generation, Generate dispatch order and update inventory etc. Supplier logs in track the pending inventory orders Confirmed inventory orders and goods to be shipped etc

This project has the facility to take insurance policy other than life insurance through internet. This gives all the information about insurance, like policies, agents, offices and glossary of insurance terminology, online services to some of the policies, Information regarding to expiry, renewal, status inquiry, chatting with experts, asking questions which will be answered after one day if not possible with chatting. The project has the administration module, which can be accessed by the company using login and password. The company has the facility to download all the filled up proposal forms and verify forms for acceptance, further verification or rejection.

Description

LAI is an Auto Insurance Company based in Basildon, UK. This project is a one-stop site for all automobile insurance needs in UK. This system is a simple and user-friendly web-based application to customers. There are 2 modules in the system as eQuote and PSS (Policy Self Service).

EQuote is online auto insurance quote and bind application. The application allows an Internet user to enter his/her vehicle/driver data to get an auto insurance quote. EQuote retrieves rates and displays the result to user. The user can then purchase the insurance online by entering his/her payment information. Upon payment, approval the quote is bond and uploaded to the application.

Policy Self Service (PSS) is an Internet based application for customers to self-service their current policies over the Internet. The main motive behind developing the PSS application is to decrease the number of calls which a CSR (Customer Service Representative) gets on daily basis even for minor transactions (which don’t require CSR approval). In order to access this service, policyholders are required to first register with PSS website by selecting a username and password as well as providing their ZIP code, driver license number, date of birth and phone number. Once registration is successful, policyholders can perform policy amendments, request forms and view billing details.

Description

SIMS is the Scientific Image Management System created by Scimagix Inc. It is the only Web-based, enterprise-accessible system for storing, browsing, searching, and retrieving scientific image files and associated text data designed to fit scientific work practices. Traditionally, scientists have store images on hard drives, ZIP disks, and CD-ROMS, using complex directory structures to organize the files. An image management system provides one database for storing all types of images, which makes searching for image files a rapid process – worldwide or within the department. Unlike using a file system, using a database enables centralized storage and rapid retrieval of images, regardless of where the images were originally generated
